Saturn V Rendering

For my final project in Computer Aided Design, I created a rendering of the Saturn V rocket used for the Apollo missions. I used engineering drawings to create a 3D model of the rocket in AutoDesk Inventor, and moved the model into 3ds Max. After also modeling the launch support tower, I assigned materials and colors to the surfaces. I placed the sun in the actual location it was on the morning of July 16th, 1969— the day of the Apollo 11 launch. Finally, I keyframed a virtual camera to move around the rocket, and rendered a short video of the scene.
